The Chief Engineer of the project, Android, Jean-Baptiste Queru, has officially announced through the project group Android Building that is now available to download all the source code of Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).
Google has released the complete source code for Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) in the official repositories of the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) three weeks after launch the update via OTA to your Nexus devices. To download its source code only, we have to go to their official website and follow the steps.
On the occasion of the release of the source code they have used to offer Android 4.2.2 proprietary binaries for all models of Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, including the 3 G version, and Nexus 10. A few weeks ago they already published his images of factory of the Nexus. Binary files are the proprietary drivers to operate their components, such as the graphics card, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc…
Gesture, Jean-Baptiste Queru reported that they have also adjusted source code of old versions of Froyo, Gingerbread, and ICS-MR1 so that it can be compiled from Ubuntu 12.04.
