MWC: And the Winner Was …

In keeping with tradition were awarded prizes for the year’s best products and services at Mobile World Congress.

Global Mobile Awards 2013 called prices given in a whole range of different categories.

The telecommunications industry is large, and that is why there is also a sea of categories and corresponding prizes, which were to be distributed. Here are some of the most interesting:

“Best Mobile Enabled Consumer Electronics Device” was won by Samsung for their clever GALAXY camera.

“Best Mobile App for Consumers” was won by Facebook for their Facebook application.

“Best Smartphone” category was won by Samsung for their Galaxy S III.

“Best Feature Phone and entry level” was won by Nokia for their Asha 305 phone.

“Best Mobile Tablet” was won by Google and ASUS with their Nexus 7

For those interested we can also mention that the Danish travel card is unfortunately not won the category “Best Mobile Service”, which instead went to Comviva and Bangladesh Railways for their mTicketing service.

For good measure, we must probably would rather point out that Travel Card after our knowledge was not nominated for an award at MWC 2013, and therefore could not win. On the other hand, who would, however, also set the Travel Card at a price…
